KERRY KLEIN has been creating beautiful homes for 25 years. She started her career in a high-end design studio in Northridge, California. "I found I had a special gift in guiding clients to realize their dreams," she recalls. After completing her formal education in interior design and becoming a State of California Certified Interior Designer, she joined the Interior Design Society in Southern California and soon became President of the IDS Tri Valley Chapter.
In 1994, Kerry and her husband came home to Northern California and settled in beautiful Sonoma County. She started her Country Cottages interior design business and in 2003 founded the Wine Country Chapter of the Interior Design Society. "There were so many designers who had no forum in which to work together, to share great local resources and to participate in giving back to the community."
Kerry actively participated in Wine Country IDS productions, Heart of the Home tour featuring six Fountaingrove homes, Wine Country Classic showcase, and the Renaissance and Romance home tour in Montecito Heights. She also designed her own 5,000 square foot European style home, from the architectural model to the finishing touches.
As an award winning designer, Kerry has been published in numerous magazines and newspapers throughout Southern California and Sonoma County.
When they can, Kerry and her husband enjoy traveling. Naturally, while on their trips she cannot help but research new furniture lines, fabrics and design trends.
